Graphic Design | Certificate

This certificate prepares students to use digital technologies and the application of design thinking and problem-solving skills incorporating the principles and elements of print and web design to create a professional portfolio that effectively communicates readiness for employment and educational opportunities.

STEM Studies | Certificate

This certificate serves as a pathway into CCV’s STEM Studies degree and prepares you for transfer to engineering or other technical degrees. The program provides a strong foundation in science, mathematics, and other academic skills. Flexibility within the certificate allows you to select courses and build skills necessary for your own career and educational goals.

Studio Art | Certificate

This certificate prepares students as creative artists with instruction in the traditional fine arts media (drawing, painting, sculpture) as well as art historical and studio art elective courses. Students will explore principles of design, color, and composition to create engaging visual art projects, which can be displayed in a portfolio of work to access educational and career opportunities.

Web Development | Certificate

Web presence today means more than simply putting a navigable site out on the web. Developers must plan strategically, creating dynamic, engaging, user-friendly sites while organizing and generating content to maximize impact. The web development certificate enables students to develop the technical competencies that are required to plan, develop, and implement websites that are both appealing and useful combined with the skills necessary to market ideas online.

IT Support | Certificate

This certificate prepares students to work as computer service desk technicians providing solutions to problems related to software applications and relevant hardware. Students completing this certificate are prepared to earn the CompTIA A+ certification and are qualified to assume a variety of positions including computer support specialists, information office managers, and support technicians.

Digital Media Production | Certificate

This certificate prepares early childhood educators to advance their skills and work as directors and leaders of childcare programs. The certificate includes courses that meet education requirements for Step One and Step Two of Vermont’s Program Director Credential.

Certified Public Bookkeeper | Registered Apprenticeship

The certified public bookkeeper apprenticeship includes four college level courses, in addition to four certifications from the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB) in Bookkeeping, Accounting, QuickBooks Online, and Payroll. After documenting 2,000 hours of work experience and earning all four certifications, you will also earn your Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) license and be able to place the CPB designation next to your name.

Entrepreneurship | Certificate

This certificate prepares students and aspiring entrepreneurs to have the mindset, skills and knowledge necessary to successfully launch, grow and manage a small business. Students will gain the entrepreneurial skills needed to start and run their own business or to be drivers of innovation and change in any organization.

Manufacturing Production Technician | Registered Apprenticeship

Do you like taking things apart just to see how they work? Are you looking for a professional manufacturing career with room to move up?

Manufacturing production technicians set up, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery or equipment, using any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies.

The manufacturing production technician apprenticeship includes two college-level courses, and also includes the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council’s Certified Production Technician credential.

Funeral Director | Certificate

This certificate meets the education requirements for an alternative route to Funeral Director licensure through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation. In addition to education requirements, those pursuing Funeral Director licensure are required to complete an apprenticeship, continuing professional education hours, and a licensure exam. Apprenticeship, continuing education hours, and licensure exam must be arranged independently and are not part of the CCV Funeral Director certificate.
