Data Science | Bachelor’s Degree

Criminal Justice | Bachelor’s Degree

Our criminal justice program gives you extensive first-hand knowledge of the full criminal justice system. Graduates of the program have worked for the U.S. Secret Service, Interpol, and the Vermont Attorney General’s Office. They have also worked for social justice nonprofits, advocacy organizations, law firms, and law enforcement agencies. This program is student-centered, unique, and flexible. It allows you to focus on the areas of the legal system that are most interesting to you. No matter your focus, you will graduate prepared to start your career or pursue law school and other graduate studies.

Art (BFA) | Bachelor’s Degree

If art is your passion and you are ready to dig deep into a creative career, then a degree in art from Vermont State University is for you. You’ll begin with hands-on coursework to get the basics of drawing, painting, sculpture, digital media, and art history, with electives in photography, printmaking, and ceramics. As a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). student, you’ll take on self-designed studio work while working in a small, tight-knit community of other artists and faculty.

Atmospheric Sciences | Bachelor’s Degree

This program will help you gain skills needed for a career in broadcasting, climate change, private industry, or research. The only program of its kind in Vermont, this degree is the perfect fit for students with a passion for forecasting, meteorology, weather, and climate science. With our on-campus television station, weather center, and observation deck, you’ll acquire hands-on experience for many meteorologist jobs.

Graduates of our atmospheric sciences program have worked at The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, and the National Weather Service.

Business Administration | Associate Degree
