Health Science | Bachelor’s Degree

Environmental Science | Bachelor’s Degree

This environmental science degree combines geology, chemistry, and biology, equipping you with the skills for a career as an environmental scientist, state park naturalist, lab analyst, and many other roles in government, industry, and the nonprofit sector.

Early Childhood & Special Education | Bachelor’s Degree

The early childhood & special education program offers dual licensure in early childhood and early childhood special education for the entire early childhood age spectrum. This will allow you to hold to jobs from private day care to early intervention to public elementary schools. Not only will you leave with the ability to work in many places, but you will be ready to be a leader in the field of early childhood and early childhood special education. Our focus on social justice and advocacy will create teacher leaders poised to change the field at the local, state, and national levels.

Graphic Design | Bachelor’s Degree

Vermont State University’s graphic design program teaches you everything about good design and how to do well in a professional setting by teaching through project-oriented coursework and hands-on learning. Internships, practicum courses, and community-based projects are integrated directly into your coursework, so you will work with professional clients and build a portfolio before graduating.

Exercise Science | Bachelor’s Degree

Vermont State’s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science is the only accredited exercise science program in Vermont and New Hampshire and in the five percent of programs in the country that are both CAAHEP-accredited and NSCA-recognized.

With small class sizes and extensive opportunities for real-world learning, you can gain up to two years of professional work experience before you graduate. Graduates have a noteworthy 100% placement rate in a job and/or graduate program.

Forensic Psychology | Bachelor’s Degree

Forensic psychology applies psychological science to the legal system. You will get real-world experience through internships in local law enforcement offices, corrections facilities, law offices, and psychology research laboratories. The program prepares you for further graduate study in a variety of related fields and careers.

Past graduates have careers in clinical forensic psychology, school psychology, academic research, law enforcement, corrections, the practice of law, victim advocacy, and other related career tracks. 

General Studies | Associate Degree
