This certificate prepares students to work as computer service desk technicians providing solutions to problems related to software applications and relevant hardware. Students completing this certificate are prepared to earn the CompTIA A+ certification and are qualified to assume a variety of positions including computer support specialists, information office managers, and support technicians.

Human Services | Certificate
This certificate prepares students for entry-level positions in human services agencies or organizations. Students gain foundational knowledge and professional communication skills needed to work in settings that provide direct service to clients. Courses for the Human Services certificate can be applied to CCV’s Behavioral Science (A.S.)+ program.
Leadership Skills | Certificate
This certificate provides students with the skills necessary to be successful in today’s workplace: good communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making.
Media Communications | Certificate
This certificate prepares students to effectively use digital communications media. Courses in this certificate include marketing, communication, and software skills that may be used to enhance current employment and prepare individuals for a wide variety of careers using new media. In addition, students will critically engage with emerging trends in the study of human interaction with digital media.
Certified Production Technician | Certification
This program recognizes individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of manufacturing production at the front-line (entry-level through front-line supervisor) through successful completion of the certification assessments. The goal of the CPT certification program is to raise the level of performance of production workers both to assist the individuals in finding higher-wage jobs and to help employers ensure their workforce increases the company’s productivity and competitiveness.
The CPT was developed by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) and is offered at CCV. It consists of five individual certificate modules: Safety; Quality Practices & Measurement; Manufacturing Processes & Production; Maintenance Awareness and Green Production. Candidates must earn the first four certificates to receive the full CPT certification.
Medical Billing & Coding | Certificate
This certificate is designed for students looking for employment in the growing field of medical billing and coding and prepares students to take the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) examination for Certified Professional Coders (CPC). To obtain the CPC credential, students will be required to demonstrate on-the-job coding experience in addition to passing the CPC certification exam. Those who pass the CPC, but have not yet met the work experience requirement, will be designated as an Apprentice (CPC-A). Students should review the AAPC’s certification requirements for additional information.
Pharmacy Technician | Certificate
This certificate prepares students to work as a pharmacy technician under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Students will develop the skills and knowledge required of a pharmacy technician including filling prescriptions, proper storage and handling of medication, and professional customer service.
Cloud Computing | Certificate
The Cloud Computing Certificate is designed to prepare students with the technical knowledge and skills required to develop, implement and maintain a cloud computing system and applications for a business or organization. Students who complete this program will have an opportunity to earn the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner and Certified Solutions Architect Certifications.
STEM Studies | Associate Degree
CCV’s associate of science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Studies will prepare you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in key scientific and technical economic sectors in Vermont. In addition to the general education requirements, the STEM Studies degree includes 23 credits of core program requirements within the fields of science, technology, and math.
The program allows the flexibility to pursue your individual goals in fields such as physical science, life science, and pre-engineering. You may fulfill the program requirements through a combination of courses in allied health science, architecture, biology, chemistry, computer information systems, environmental science, mathematics, mechanical engineering technology, meteorology, and physics.
Environmental Science | Associate Degree
The Environmental Science program is designed to prepare students for employment in areas of the environment or for transfer to a four-year institution of higher learning. In this multidisciplinary program, you will learn to relate underlying scientific theory to environmental considerations affecting our everyday lives. You will gain an understanding of environmental problems and obtain the knowledge and skills to begin developing solutions.
