The Human Services program is ideal for students interested in psychology, education, or social work. Students learn about human development, mental health, communication skills, and workplace readiness, with hands-on experiences in local schools and elder services.
This program includes the opportunity to participate in the Vermont Early Childhood Education Youth Apprenticeship Program. This is a paid pre-apprenticeship program that prepares for participation in the Vermont Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship Program. Hours and training earned in the pre-apprenticeship will transfer. This program also offers free college credits from the Community College of Vermont.

For high school students attending from within the district, there is no cost to this program. For students from outside of the district and adults who are not enrolled in high school, local scholarships and other funding sources may be available.
