This is intended for high school students attending from within the region. Students from outside the region can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.
Description
The Construction Technology Program offers a strong introduction to the tools and techniques of the industry. Students learn to use hand and power tools safely and accurately, develop project-estimating skills, and become familiar with contemporary building materials. Students build with panelization methods. Students gain practical experience from foundation to finish on and off-campus, and at community projects.
This program includes or prepares for the following credential(s): National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) - Construction Core, ACT National Career Readiness Certificate. Please note that credentials offered can vary from year to year. Contact the center for the most up-to-date information.
